Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Baker to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining the quality and consistency of our cheesecakes while supporting production for both in-store and large-scale orders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and passionate about baking.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake cheesecakes and dessert components according to company recipes and standards

• Assist with high-volume production (including large catering and pre-orders)

• Maintain consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation

• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Properly measure, mix, and prepare ingredients

• Assist with prep work, including crusts, fillings, and toppings

• Maintain a clean, organized workspace

• Support inventory tracking and ingredient prep as needed

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
   

Qualifications

• Previous baking experience required (professional kitchen preferred)

• Experience with high-volume production is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and consistency

• Ability to follow recipes precisely

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Reliable and punctual

• Food safety certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
   

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable working in a commercial kitchen environment
   

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling (early mornings, weekends, and holidays may be required)

• Decorate mini cheesecakes according to brand standards

• Pipe toppings, apply garnishes, and execute clean, consistent finishes

• Assist with assembly of specialty and seasonal items

• Maintain uniformity across large batches of desserts

• Prepare toppings and decorative elements (crumbs, drizzles, fruit, etc.)

• Ensure all products are presentation-ready for display and orders

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Keep workstation clean, organized, and efficient

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet daily production goals
   

Qualifications

• Previous cake decorating or pastry experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and steady hand for piping and finishing

• Ability to replicate designs consistently

• Creative eye with an understanding of clean, modern presentation

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Reliable and punctual
